About ME

Hi, I'm Kristy — the heart, hands, and host behind Gathered by Kristy. Born in Los Angeles and raised right here in Carlsbad, where I again live today after a decade living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City. Charcuterie wasn't something I discovered later in life — it was simply my childhood dinner. In high school, a beautiful spread of cheeses, cured meats, and fresh fruit was a normal weeknight meal my mom would put together for us.

I started cooking young, always experimenting with new recipes, and I never stopped. I absolutely love hosting. To this day, my favorite thing in the world is gathering my friends and family around a table to share something I've made — and that feeling of togetherness is exactly why I created Gathered by Kristy. Food and table styling have been lifelong passions of mine, because I believe we eat with our eyes first; every board and grazing table I create is designed to be as stunning to look at as it is delicious to enjoy.
